The following chair positions will be opening up next year. If you'd like to take over these fun and low-stress roles, reach out now so we can put you in touch with the out-going chairs. This makes it really easy to transition into your role!

World Language Enrichment Class Chair

Program runs November - April.  Most work takes place August - early November. Generally one hour or less of work per week on any given week.

Responsibilities include:  Recruiting & vetting world language teachers as needed; Updating, marketing and distributing class registration forms and answering parent questions; Organizing registrations & payments, delivering payment to PTO treasurer;  Possible recalculation of class rates & teacher payments as needed to keep program profitable and keep teacher pay current; Preparing class lists for teachers & serving as liaison between teachers and Hatch office staff & PTO volunteers; occasional troubleshooting and problem solving with teachers or PTO as needed (such as if family hasn't sent in payment, student is forgetting to attend, or there are student behavior problems during class)

Turkey Trot Chair

This event is a well-oiled machine and is primarily run by Mr. Cruz. The Chair is responsible for gathering volunteers and supplies and making sure glitches are taken care of during the event. Time-wise, the commitment is minimal. A few hours of planning time in advance, then being in attendance the afternoon of the event.

If you're interested in either of these roles, please contact Katie.Maschoff@gmail.com.

It's an established event that you can keep the same, or change up as much as you like! Run it this year with the current chair and learn the ropes to chair next year.
