Apollo After School Care

Hatch PTO is proud to offer an After School Proram for students at Hatch, called Apollo.

Apollo After School Program provides an affordable, safe and reliable option to parents who are unable to pick-up their child/children right after school, up until 6 pm.

Program Dates: August 23, 2017 to May 25, 2018

More details:

  • It runs from 2:55 pm to 6 pm (except Wed, from 1:55pm-6pm), during full school days.

    • It follows D97 calendar , and there is no Apollo on half-days, holidays and Institute days, or if school closes for inclement weather conditions.

  • Hatch PTO parent volunteers coordinate the registration and payments.

  • There are scholarships available for families that qualify for free/reduced lunch program

  • Apollo is a private provider that offers their service at Hatch.

    • The educators at Apollo are professionals who come from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines and have a track record of managing after school programs.

    • Apollo educators come to a classroom at Hatch to help kids with a variety of educational activities. Crafts, outside playground time, and help with homework is offered.

  • Hatch Apollo is currently full, but feel free to add your name the waiting list (link at the bottom of this page)

    • Families already in the program have priority on sign up. After that, families on the waiting list will be contacted.

  • Kids’ day:

    • After school bell, kids go to auditorium for a snack for 15 minutes (please send nut free snack with your child)

    • Our Apollo teachers help with HAH attendance during the 15 minutes following the bell at the auditorium.

    • After 15 minutes, students are escorted to their Apollo classroom that will be their home-base for the day.

  • Open communication between Apollo teachers and parents is key to success. Apollo PTO volunteer team is here to help with any questions or problems that might come up. Please share your comments and concerns with us. The Apollo program managers are always looking for feedback to provide the best care possible.

  • Payments for next school year will be monthly, starting August 5th. Fee will vary depending on how many days/week child attends the program. 10 monthly payments due the 5th of each month, starting on August, last payment on May 5th. Late fee $25.
