Hatch PTO is a non-profit organization comprising: parents and guardians of current students, current administrators and teachers, and patrons who wish to support Hatch Elementary School.

PTO business is conducted through the monthly General Meeting (see this year's meeting schedule.) Activities, policies, and financial affairs are governed by the PTO By-laws (as amended; doc format - 39K) and as developed through the meetings, conferences, and committees. The Executive Board includes: two Co-Presidents, two Co-Vice Presidents, two Co-Treasurers and one Secretary.

Hatch PTO sponsors a wide variety of activities and services throughout the school year. Several fundraising events are held each year to financially support these efforts and to provide funds for school needs that enhance educational programming.

Parent Involvement within the schools is a key component for improving student achievement. Hatch PTO believes that the more involved parents are with their child's learning, the more effective that learning will be. The PTO encourages the voluntary participation of parents/guardians in school programs under the guidance of professional educators. There are many volunteering options in addition to participation on a standing committee. Please, become involved!

Meeting Schedule: General Meetings are held in the Media Center, second floor, starting at 7:00 p.m. until adjourned. This year’s minutes are available as highlighted on the schedule (doc format between 20 - 35K). Archived minutes are available here.
